In 1848 a group of English painters created the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, an artistic movement to reject the mechanical and commercialised approach to art during the 19th century.
This is the start to a movement created in 2009 by a group of young artists in Britain. During the economic crisis art has become modernised as a form of production; that creation must produce some kind of end project. The Neo Bene movement rejects that prophesy, promoting self-expression and pleasure in art regardless of the art industry.
Art under the Neo Bene movement extends to Literature, Art, Drama and Music. It looks at restoring art as a cultural joy during the times of the recession where money objectifies society.
The beauty of work is in the inspiration and the growth of the human mind.
Art is a form of human happiness.

Claire: "But you're too nerdy to say 'Coolish'!"
Doobly: "What? But I'm not nerdy... I'm cool! ...Ish..."
Oh, but I do. why else would I wander back?
Help me fight against people ripping off my work. Hate-Love is the most ripped off piece in all my gallery. If you see my work on blogs/myspace/deviantART/sites selling art etc let me know!
If you want to put it up somewhere ask and link to me and I just might let you.
Thanks
